Today state-wide CCTV surveillance project has seen 12000 plus cameras keeping an eye on every significant happening in every corner of the urban areas. Similarly, under the Bharatnet phase II project, the state has already completed trenching and ducting work in 6000 km, fiber laying in 2,200 km and has lit 250 village panchayats already. We intend to complete phase II of the project by March 2020. The state is also working on the simultaneous utilization of the Bharatnet by providing connectivity to government offices in every gram panchayat.
Today Under the flagship initiative of Technology-enabled Community Health Operations, which was launched as TECHO by PrimeMinister, the state has captured the health data related to 6.2 crore population, which currently tracks as many as 7.5 lakh pregnant women through 10,793 female health workers. In this first of its kind digital initiative in the country, as many as 2,219 Public Health Facilities are also using this program for seamless health information monitoring and service provision.
Today PMGDISHA is a scheme to make six crore persons in rural areas, across States/UTs, digitally literate, reaching to around 40% of rural households by covering one member from every eligible household by 31st March, 2020.Bharat Net and Next Generation Network ( NGN), are also a part of Digital India campaign. The programme includes project’s in Indian.
